Conversion instructions AE 5280 channel extension (only admissible for export customers) the AE 5280 in German execution (80/12 channels) can be converted on some other standards:

With 120 to 400 channel programming one still the MEMO switch on channel 9 key changes must, since only this key can be used as BAND selector switches. With devices starting from summer there are 96 in addition per 2 bridges ME and CH 9. The bridges with ME remove and with CH 9 solder. With devices, which do not have yet these programming bridges, one must remove the front screen and separate both (!) conductive strips from the note tracer to the processor and again attach the tracer with two thin wires in pin 18 and 5 of the CPU (feasible only if one is experienced in handling SMD and microelectronics). In principle all channels are adjustably, however with losses in the performance upward and down after the change, (the devices operate with full performance reliably only on the middle tapes, for which the devices were adjusted by the factory). It can also occur that the PLL system not everywhere einrastet.(Neuabgleich L 17 necessarily). Evtl. C 62 around 10-15 pF and C 66 around 22-33 pF (paralle connection).
Conversion instructions AE 5212 channel extension (only admissible for export customers) the AE 5212 in Spanish execution (40/40 channels), starting from seriennummer 9503..... can be changed over to 240 channel standard:
